We walk amongst the woodland.
There's a break in the trees
A clearing to let the sunshine through
Streaming through the tree's the warm sunbeams shining down on us
The sun giving warmth amongst the cool and damp woodland
The sun giving life to the undergrowth and new sprigs of life
If you stand awhile and let the sunbeams tough your body, your face
You can be transported to another place
A place of peace, love and warmth
A place of hope and stillness
The sunbeams light up the dark woodland floor
They light up the colours beneath your feet, the colours you tred upon but never notice
We walk amongst the woodland
And stop at the sunbeams
To let the sunbeams touch us
Touch our soul and body
To bring hope, love and peace.
