My beautiful daughter Maddie came home from her Saturday job yesterday with a surprise - A Bettys Bag - inside the traditional and classic cake box. I was instructed not to open it until tomorrow.
I woke thinking about the box in my fridge, trying to hide the excitement from my husband! As I didn’t want to look like a foolish giddy child, but I failed miserably hiding my excitement!! Haha
I made a coffee and took the bag which contained the box of goodness out of the fridge.
Inside the most beautiful heart shaped cake/pastry - puff pastry with icing on the top, filled with jam, cream and fruit - my goodness it was delicious 😋
The sweetness oozing against the crunch of the slightly sour blueberries. The jam complementing the strawberries and cream perfectly. Perfection on a plate.
I think you can say NO sugar February is definitely OVER X
However, I don’t want to go back to my old ways. I have changed and it’s now me against my own willpower from now on ❤️
