Yesterday we had equal light and dark in duration, equinox
But you know what it’s hard to see the light when the darkness seems so dark
What’s happening in the world?
The world’s gone mad!
US presidents stating autism is caused by paracetamol?
What? That just blows my mind!
Paracetamol?
WTF?
Far right groups protesting about human beings crossing the channel on small boats!
But its so much bigger than that!
And groups standing up to racism calling out individuals from the far right groups who are wife beaters and rapists!
Not all people on the far right groups are rapists and wife beaters, either!
The world wants us to take a side and stick with it!
Want us to hate each other, creating a divide!
A Brexit divide
A covid vaccine divide
An immigration divide
We are being played for fools, while they changing laws through parliament and adding further charges to our day to day lives
While the rich are getting richer
And the poor are getting poorer!
Families are too tired to fight the system cos the system is just putting more and more pressure on them, creating exhausted human beings!
A constant cycle of tiredness
A cycle of hate
Hate for human kind
Where’s love thy neighbour gone?
Where’s the support for each other
Where’s it all gone?
What did mother Theresa say - if you want to change the world go home and love your family!
Thats the easy part - loving our families!
Maybe the real work, the harder work is loving the stranger, the vulnerable.
We need human kind to care about one another again and see the light not the darkness
