Football matches, cleaning the house, cleaning and ironing clothes, getting everything ready for the week ahead.
I feel good.
I've sorted, cleaned and tided my bedroom. I've wanted to do it for a long time and I hadn't found the time either consciously or unconsciously.
A clear space around where I sleep. It's not what I needed to be surrounded by clutter as I slept. It wasn't fair on my mental health.
Ideally I'd like a new bedroom; new walls, carpet, curtains and wardrobe but that's not possible at the moment. We don't have the money.
So, the best thing I can do is keep it clean and clutter free until the time comes to do the bedroom. It will come the time, I just have to be patient and wait.
We've outgrown this house but its clean, in a beautiful city and it holds me, Ian and my children.
I am thankful.
